Use these locking nuts along with the o-ring spacer adapters to create a vibration damping mount. The tighten the nuts only just enough to create a seal between the carburetor and the o-rings. This leaves allows the carburetors to float without transmitting as much engine vibration into the float bowls. These locking nuts keep from backing off the studs.
