Complete racing gearbox fitted with new production straight-cut gears in the BMC Special Tuning Close Ratios.

All complete gearboxes start with a bare stripped and clean transmission case. They feature brand new gear sets, fresh synchro rings, bearings, new tailshaft bushing reamed to size and then all assembled with love.
We build each gearbox the same as we do for ourselves (because we race with them!). You will receive one of our fresh racing gearbox spares that we keep on the shelf for our own racecar.
We generally carry one of these with us to all races. Come find us in the paddock, even if we race the Sonett that weekend we usually still have a Sprite ribcase gearbox with us.
If you know in advance of arriving at the track, please arrange with us so we can make sure we bring one just for you and save the shipping costs.

The tailshaft bushings wear quickly when racing, and over time with lightly driven street gearboxes. Improperly reamed bushings will fail quickly. We ream all of our tailshafts on a custom fixture and tooling to ensure the best fit and alignment around the driveshaft yoke.

Rebuilding your own gearbox? Send us your tail housing and we will replace and ream a new bushing properly to size and send it back to you.
