Sprite Midget Rear Brake Drum Shoe

$25.00

Replacement brake shoes for Sprite/Midget rear drum brakes.

We use these shoes in the rear of our Bugeye racecar #757.

These are a good quality OEM street style lining on the shoes; however, they hold up well on track without delaminating.

One box has shoes for both left and right.

Note for Double Bearing Rear Hubs: Depending on how the double bearing hubs were machined, the return springs rub and eventually wear through. Usually you will hear a high-pitch squealing when rotating the rear wheel by hand after fitting and adjusting the drum. We add additional slots to the shoe to relocate the return springs slightly lower to prevent the spring rubbing and eventually breaking. Email sales@griffinspeedworks.com if you’ve had this issue in the past and need a modified set of shoes.
