Complete Rebuilt V4 Transaxle for Saab 95 / 96 / Sonett - Service
We rebuild these Saab transaxles on the factory service jig, with all the specific factory servicing tools. New bearings as required and new brass synchronizer rings will return your transmission to factory fresh condition.
Typically, these transmissions have had a ‘quick and dirty’ benchtop rebuild in their life. Without all the factory tools to measure and set the critical dimensions, these ‘quick rebuilds’ will loosen up and wear out quickly; sometimes the aluminum housing being the only salvageable piece!
Will also service transaxle rebuilds for regular street production car use.
All require an equivalent serviceable core transaxle sent in. Due to low inventory of good cores at this time please ship your gearbox to us first and we will inspect and advise on work required.
